Day 90

Congratulations to EVERYONE that's succeed..........we're are the Champions.

Has anyone else constantly been told they're too skinny......from hairstylists to massage therapists I keep getting told i'm now too skinny, but all I tell them is I'm now feeling great. I think it becomes very obvious as I'm tall and easy to see the results......so from now on it's exercise everyday, egg whites to build me up and a lifestyle diet change....thanks Patrick as the results speak for themselves.

Wednesday 26 October 2011

Day 87

I feel as I get closer to my goal, the more I have to blog about it (smug smile) and I'm not alone in this.....which is great. Well done everyone.

Exercise was great today as the park was empty this morning owing to it being a public holiday......however party's ending as I'm travelling again. So it's difficult hotel food and crowded gyms, bit not long to go and so so so looking forward to Sunday's surprise exercises.........anyone else?

Monday 24 October 2011

Day 86

Training went well this morning despite the rain and slippery conditions underfoot. Whoooo it really was a power challenge, but worth it.

I'm not keen on the "failure" targets for the V-sits and Plank as I'm a target orientated individual, and need something to aim for......got there in the end. Managed to do 1 x 11min and 1 x 10min skipping, meaning my counting is improving.

K K K K Keeeeeeeep it going everyone........nearly there !!!!

Sunday 23 October 2011

Day 85

Managed to get up at the crack of dawn.....even before the Tai Chi Aunties (hopefully my music didn't upset the parks Feng Shui, ha ha). Accidentally achieved two sets of 12min skips....only because i'm terrible at counting in my head at 6am in the morning.

Apart from that all good (weight was up to 80.8kg, but that's normal for a weekend....don't know why, other than lack of routine)

Saturday 22 October 2011

Day 84

I know trainings not like an ATM Machine, but still managed to do Tuesday's exercises today.......before it got hot.

The rest of this coming week is looking like a monstrous task....got work related training from early morning till late (Mon, Tue, Wed) then traveling on business Thur & Fri.......going to be tough to fit everything into a day, we'll see. I've actually noticed that one of the key success factors in PCP is routine.

How's everyone else finding the time management, tougher than the food and exercise........this is probably a symptom of modern day life and the breakneck speeds that we've normalized as everyday routine (city life I guess.....time to look out my wellies).

Keep it up and hope to read everyone's updates over the week.......the last week.

Friday 21 October 2011

Day 83

One week to go......... this has been a struggle near the end. If I were a car I'd be looking for a full engine service before I failed my MOT, ha ha.....only jesting, but seriously running out of energy.

Monday 17 October 2011

Day 78

One comment on the indulgence at the weekend

A, B, C, Deeeeeelicious

Friday 14 October 2011

Day 76

Weekend chillaxing......yipeeeeeeeeee

Seriously, it's becoming really tough to manage the time for exercise, sleep, food and work. There seemed to be much more hours in the day when I went for a pint after work....ha ha

Tuesday 11 October 2011

Day 72

Hey, anyone looked ahead to Day 75.........5 sets of 90sec plank, this will certainly be a challenge as I'm "cream crackered" after 4 sets, ha ha.

Hope everyone's fighting through the program as there's definitely a bright shining light at the end of the tunnel now. Keep it going EVERYONE, the end (and the new beginning) is in sight for us all. G

Monday 10 October 2011

Day 71

Skip ropes in the gym in KL must be a new thing as I got lots of "look at that weirdo stares".....never mind, there'll be a week of it.

Sunday 9 October 2011

Day 70

Not long now.........but guess 90 days is only the start of the next chapter.

Friday 7 October 2011

Day 69

21days to go and havin a blast.....................exercises getting time consuming and tough, but hey the tone up is working. Food's getting to become very same same as lost the enthusiasm for creating new masterpieces (nae time).

Serious thoughts on how this has changed my routine and health for good, it's the old saying :

Breakfast like a KING
Lunch like a PRINCE
Dinner like a PAUPER.........

Not too sure where drinking falls into this theory.

Friday 30 September 2011

Day 62 (Day 12 in Scotland)

Junko and I are still exercising, helped by the the unseasonally high temperatures hitting the UK at the moment.....2 days to go and then back to Super strict regimes (one or two bent rules this week).

Weight today was 83.2kg which was a pleasant surprise after refusing to buy scales for 12days....so total lost is now 12.9kg and couldn't help thinking this would have been more if I'd been at home in the safety of my routines.

Anyway, only one football match, family dinner and one inflight meal stands in my way......bring it on.!!!

Saturday 24 September 2011

Day 55

Continuing to be good on the food, bad on exercise......I hope playing golf and watching football helps.

On a serious note, it's tough training on your own.....nowhere near the motivation......4 x 60sec plank on my own is tricky.

Wednesday 21 September 2011

Day 52

I've gotta confess, two days and zero exercise........one day flying, and one day lying (on the couch).

Anyway, got a gym lined up for tomorrow onwards as too cold outside. Also I'm sure the use of skip ropes is still deemed a capital offense in Scotland, I'll soon find out tomorrow.

Oh and my local fishmonger force fed me some very salty, but very tasty smoked fish today...FOC, fortunately it was only a sparrow fart amount, but how could I resist....

Hope everyone else is doing better.

Saturday 17 September 2011

Day 48

Nightmare of a day in terms of PCP, ended up watching the Irish hump the Aussie's at rugger and proceeded to drink beer the whole day........feeling so so guilty today.

Friday 16 September 2011

Day 47

I love the Kung-fu sit-ups, totally excellent......only one problem, I can't do them, ha ha.

Tuesday 13 September 2011

Day 45

Timed skip ropes much easier, averaging 150 every 2min session (is that slow?).......then again i see why, exercises increased dramatically, a seriously arduous task for the best of us.

Come on, only 44 days and 16hrs to go.........streaking ahead of my expectations.

Friday 9 September 2011

Day 41

Everyone is doing so so so well and congratulations to everyone making it this far.........this in itself is a momentous achievement (especially the 1,500 jumps tomorrow - OMG..!!!!)

Thursday 8 September 2011

Day 39

No PCP exercise today due to work and playing football.....but managed to break the amazing 10kg mark.....unbelievable, now 85.7kg, PCP results are amazing.

Wednesday 7 September 2011

Day 39

Finally getting the hang of jump ropes and skipping at a reasonable speed..........no more tortoise skipping, otherwise I'm skipping for ages. Not quite Rocky, but getting there.

Tuesday 6 September 2011

Day 37

Everything's going great guns, the abs are on fire and sole of my shoes are melting with skipping.....but all good fun.

Patrick mentioned more egg whites in the coming weeks....OMG, I'm not looking forward to the constant barrage of egg white upon egg white. Can't we get protein from beer or chips??

Thursday 1 September 2011

Day 32

Everything going great guns, but maybe slipped an extra 50g of veggies the nicht..........whoops......I was "Hank Marvin"...

Apart from that, all good.

Wednesday 31 August 2011

Day 31 again

1300 skip jumps non-stop.......never thought it would be possible....

Day 31

One month down, two more to go.......loving it and hating it, but's the fickle fiasco of life.....!!!

Monday 29 August 2011

Day 29

Exercising routines are being enjoyable, but absolutely hate egg white in any shape or form......worst thing to date.

On the plus side the yoghurt, apple and bananas are magic....truly fab.

Sunday 28 August 2011

Day 28

Jumps were great today, and looking forward to the PCP week ahead......

Weekends are getting easier with no beer........wine........or late nights. Feel great in the morning and "alive and kickin" everyday.

Saturday 27 August 2011

Day 27 (continued)

Double katanas, is it just me or are these a nightmare.........I'm finding these tricky and had to do.

Friday 26 August 2011

Day 27

Managed to go to the movies and NOT eat nachos............PCP is creating a few firsts for me.....smashing.

Not keen on creeps as they make my legs feel like they are on fire.

Thursday 25 August 2011

Day 25

Junko's back so exercising much more fun........although she's fixated on "the indulgence" e-mail, ha ha...... I'm going for nachos at cinema if I can bring myself to do it.

Total weight lost to-date is 7.4kg.......yipeeeeee

Tuesday 23 August 2011

Day 23

Surprisingly 1050 skips ain't that bad.....Patrick you were on the money, we do get used to skipping.

Appear to be getting hungry in the evenings and Over-dosing on Balsamic vinegar which ia quite salty i guess.

Friday 19 August 2011

Day 20

Weekend worries to keep on track.......Junko's off to Oz so going to be tough to motivate myself until she's back.

Wednesday 17 August 2011

Day 18

Work / PCP balance is the challenge.........no more football for the remainder of PCP as no time, nightmare.

Not too worry as I'm feeling tons better, more awake at work in the afternoons which is great and reckon it's due to less heavy lunch.

All PCP peps.....let's keep trucking......

Tuesday 16 August 2011

Day 17

Another Day, another 800skips........but it's working and that's the main thing......and it's fun and more relaxing.....mainly cause Junko and I are to tired to fight, ha ha

Monday 15 August 2011

Day 16

Everything on track and going well......next few days jam packed at work so tough balance working long hours, exercising, weighing food and sleeping 8hrs.

Thankfully Junko's a great help and couldn't do this without her......Looking forward to her vegetable curry tonight....Oishi ne

Saturday 13 August 2011

Day 14

Lovely Sunday.......breakfast, 18 holes of golf and 800 SKIPS.

Whoever invented skipping's got a lot to answer for. Anyway looking forward to the week ahead and what PCP has in store for us.

Day 13

First time since starting PCP I felt hungry during the day......that's the problem with weekends and no beer......seriously weekends feel harder (guess it's lack of routine)

Not to mention start of English Premiership today and again no beer, toughest challenge yet!!!

Thursday 11 August 2011

Day 11

Day 11 and already onto 700 jumps....OMG never thought it would be possible.

Day 10

Struggling at football this evening.....must be the change in diet (for the better)

Wednesday 10 August 2011

Day 9

No complaints, no aching and not hungry.....how can this be?

Actually, I'm really enjoying the food without salt, sugar or out of a can.....just finding weighing a pain as two of us with different allowances, but getting there.

Tuesday 9 August 2011

Day 9

National Day exercise in Singapore......brilliant, but no beer.

Monday 8 August 2011

Day 8

Loved the exercise in the morning, sets me off for the day........kinda upsets the old Chinese lady in the park practicing Tai Chi.......

Eating that amount of vegetables in morning is proving difficult.....and weird, Weetabix with Sprouts.....

Enjoying the fruit.....crushed fermented grapes of the red and white variety......wink wink

Saturday 6 August 2011

Day 6

More skipping and looking forward to even more skipping tomorrow (500).....don't know if I can count that many jump skips.

Friday 5 August 2011

Day 5

It's been a great first week, now for the weekend......

Wednesday 3 August 2011

Day 4

Still struggling with the skipping, I seem to jump twice in between jumps......Junko manages to Jump once only.........any tips as she's lovin this...but then again so am I.

Day 3

Like Edmund Hillary at the foothills of Everest, like Scott on the icy tundra of McMurdo Sound or Quatermain facing the mighty lion on the plains of the serengeti.........I will conquer Skipping......roar...roar.

Good fun doing PCP exercise with Junko....keeps me going.

Tuesday 2 August 2011

Day 2

Skipping was a nightmare........Freddie style, but eventually getting the hang of them damn ropes.!!! Enjoying the buzz

Monday 1 August 2011

Graeme's in the Game!

No more excuses, Graeme is getting fit right before your eyes, right HERE!
